Please come to the next Summer Reading Program called Go Fish!  We will be in the South Holiday meeting room on Thursday, July 1 at 2:00 p.m.  We will be making cool fish stuff and playing fishy games.  It is fun and free!

This week our program is Extreme Art!  Join us at 6 p.m. for a free art program.  

Since this is art in the X-TREME - YOU WILL GET MESSY.  Please dress in something you don't mind getting covered in art!

And don't forget to report your books!

South Holiday Technology Program - Social Networking

Our summer technology program is titled "Social Networking Online"

Ever wonder exactly what social networking is?  We seem to hear about it everywhere these days.  Do you even know if you want to get involved? 


Come join us for a free talk and learn about Facebook, MySpace, Blogging and more!  We will be meeting Friday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the South Holiday meeting room.

Teens - Super Splash & Soak Field Day!

Teens!  Join us Wednesday June 23 @ 6 p.m. for the Super Splash and Soak Field Day!!!  We will meet in the South Holiday Meeting Room but move to our "back yard" for free water splash fun.

Warning!  You may get wet!  Dress accordingly.

The Summer Reading Club gets underway Thursday, June 17th at 2 p.m.  Join us in the South Holiday meeting room for a free pool party program.  No swimsuits are needed  - just your crafting skills, chalk art plans and limbo moves!

Pirates @ South Holiday Library for teens

Our first free summer program for teens is this Wednesday June 16th @ 6 p.m. when pirates will invade our meeting room.

Come on in and see the action!

Open to those who will be in grades 6 through 12 this fall. 

Storytime resumes on Tuesday!

Our brief summer break is over and storytimes start back up Tuesday morning.  Toddlers meet in the South Holiday Meeting room at 10:15 a.m. and the pre-school set meet at 11:00 a.m.

Remember all stories read in storytime count towards your Summer Reading Club total!

Tween Program - Friday June 11

Are you going to be in grades 4 - 7 in the fall?

Yes?  Join us for Beach Castaway Jewelry on Friday 6/11 at 2 p.m.

We will use rope, shells, and other beach combing treasures to make into jewelry.  It is free and at South Holiday library.

Time to Register for Summer Reading!

You can now register for summer reading!  You just have to promise to read and mini-report on any book you read over the summer and you will win cool prizes!  If you finish at least 6 before July 31, then you will be invited to a special party in early August.

                                              

If you reading to a little one this summer - sign them up!  You need to read 20 books to them before July 31 to be eligible for the party.
