National Gaming Day on Saturday 11/12 at Noon at South Holiday

Come out to enjoy the latest Wii and Xbox Kinect Games, funded by a grant from the State Library of Florida. Dance Central, Michael Jackson Experience, Wii Soccer, and much, much more!  We are celebrating ALA's National Gaming Day from Noon to 3:30 p.m. in the South Holiday Meeting Room on Saturday, November 12.

This event is free and open to everyone.

Zombie Feltie Keychains on Wednesday 10/19 at 5pm at South Holiday

Teens - join us to make Zombie Feltie Keychains on Wednesday, October 19 at 5:00 p.m.   Create your own key chain out of felt, beads and sequins.   Give him a dangling eyeball and brains seeping out of his decaying head.  It's so creepy, it's cute!

Teen Advisory Board Meeting on Wednesday 8/3 at 6pm at South Holiday

The Teen Advisory Board, (aka TAB) meets at the South Holiday Library the first Wednesday of every month at 6pm. Make suggestions on programs, books & other materials. Earn volunteer hours and have a great time doing it!

Our next meeting is Wednesday, August 3 @ 6pm in the South Holiday Meeting Room.  TAB meetings are free and open to those in grades 6 through 12.

Teens!  Come for our next program of the You Are Here Summer Reading Club.  


Beat the heat with friends, film and frozen treats!  Movie and Ice Cream  on Wednesday June 29 at 6 p.m. in the South Holiday Meeting Room.   We will vote on the movie we will see, so be sure to grab your friends and be here early for the vote.

Anime Club on Saturday 12/4 at SH

Teens!  Join us on the first Saturday of every month, for the Anime Club.  We will discuss Japanese culture, Manga and watch episodes from your favorite anime series.

Our final program for the summer is SOAP!  Join us in the South Holiday meeting room on Wednesday 7/28 at 6 p.m. to make your own soap, origami and other crafts.  

The deadline to finish your 6 books is fast approaching!  Make sure you have reported at least 6 books before the end of the month to get invited to the end of summer party.

Time to Register for Summer Reading!

You can now register for summer reading!  You just have to promise to read and mini-report on any book you read over the summer and you will win cool prizes!  If you finish at least 6 before July 31, then you will be invited to a special party in early August.

                                              

If you reading to a little one this summer - sign them up!  You need to read 20 books to them before July 31 to be eligible for the party.
