Movie with Friends on Wednesday 11/23 at 2:00 p.m. at South Holiday

The next Movie with Friends this season will be shown in the South Holiday Meeting Room on Wednesday, November 23rd at 2:00 p.m.  It will be a biography of Leonardo DaVinci.

The movie runs about an hour.  Light refreshments will be served and are courtesy of the Friends of the South Holiday Library.

National Gaming Day on Saturday 11/12 at Noon at South Holiday

Come out to enjoy the latest Wii and Xbox Kinect Games, funded by a grant from the State Library of Florida. Dance Central, Michael Jackson Experience, Wii Soccer, and much, much more!  We are celebrating ALA's National Gaming Day from Noon to 3:30 p.m. in the South Holiday Meeting Room on Saturday, November 12.

This event is free and open to everyone.

Anime Club Meeting on Saturday 11/5 at 2p.m. at South Holiday

Teens!  The next Anime Club meeting is Saturday, November 5.  We will be in the South Holiday Library Meeting Room at 2:00 p.m.  

We will watch Anime, discuss manga, learn about Japanese culture and participate in other related activities.

Our technology program this month is Introduction to Publisher on Friday, November 4th at 2:00 p.m. in the South Holiday Meeting Room.  Learn to create business cards, greeting cards and banners in this Microsoft Office program.

TAB Meeting on Wednesday November 2 at 6p.m. at South Holiday

The Teen Advisory Board, (aka TAB) meets at the South Holiday Library the first Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m.  Our next meeting will be Wednesday, November 3rd.  Make suggestions on programs, books & other materials.  Earn volunteer hours and have a great time doing it.

Movies with Friends Resume on Wednesday, November 2 at 2:00 p.m. at South Holiday

The weather is starting to cool, so you know that it is time for Movies with the South Holiday Friends!  

Join us on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. in the South Holiday Meeting Room and enjoy a movie (approximately an hour long), friends and light refreshments.  The first show of the season will be on Wednesday, November 2 and will be about pirates.  This program is free and open to adults.

Sit-n-Knit meets on Saturday October 29 at 11:00 a.m. at South Holiday

It is time for our Sit-n-Knit Club!  It will be on Saturday, October 29th at 11:00 a.m. in the South Holiday Meeting Room.  We meet on the last Saturday of every month.

Bring in your needles, yarn and whatever you are currently working on.  Show and tell us what you have been doing and lend or get a hand with your stitching!

SCORE - Introduction to Quickbooks on Wednesday 10/26 at 5:30 p.m. at South Holiday

South Holiday Library and S.C.O.R.E. present "Introduction to Quickbooks"on Wednesday, October 26th at 5:30 p.m. in the South Holiday Meeting Room.

This two-hour seminar is designed for persons planning to start a business, or who have recently started a small business, but who have not yet set up an effective record keeping system. The seminar is a basic hands-on introduction to QuickBooks, the popular automated business record keeping system. Note that this is not for advanced users.

 This seminar is open to the general public and is FREE. Pre-registration is not required, although you can guarantee yourself a seat by registering here.
