Technology Class on eBooks on Friday, September 2 at 2:00 p.m. at South Holiday

On Friday, September 2nd at 2:00 p.m. the South Holiday Library will have an Introduction to eBooks class in our Meeting Room.

Learn about Overdrive - the library's system for electronic books and audiobooks for your computer, eReader or other portable device.  With Overdrive you can checkout and download…

• OverDrive WMA Audiobooks
• OverDrive MP3 Audiobooks
• OverDrive Music

To checkout and download you need…

• A valid library card
• Internet access
• A computer or device that meets the system requirements for the type(s) of materials you wish to download
• Free software for the computer or device on which you wish to use the materials available at this site

This class will cover how Overdrive works and how to get the books so you can read or listen to them.  

This program is free and open to adults.

Safari Adventure Kid's Craft Program on Saturday 8/27 at 2pm at South Holiday

Kids!  Have a jungle of a good time at our Elementary age craft program. Join us Saturday, August 27th at 2pm in the South Holiday Meeting Room for a Safari Adventure!  Design and decorate your own binoculars and amazing animals.

This free program is open to elementary age children in grades K through 5.

 

 

Paper Robotz on Saturday 8/20 at 2pm at South Holiday

We have a special tween program for August - Paper Robotz on Saturday, August 20 at 2:00 p.m.  Come on in and create a 3D robot out of paper.  If you are going to be in grades 4 through 7 this fall, grab some friends and join us  for this fun and free program!

Teen Game Zone on Wednesday 8/17 at 6pm at South Holiday

Come and join us for Teen Game Zone on Wednesday, 8/17 at 6pm in the South Holiday Meeting Room.  We will have lots of video game fun with Rockband, Super Smash Bros. and Dance Central.  

Teen programs are free and open to grades 6 through 12.

Anime Club Meeting on Saturday 8/6 at 2pm at South Holiday

Teens!  The next Anime Club meeting is Saturday, August 6.  We will be in the South Holiday Library Meeting Room at 2:00 p.m.  We will watch Anime, discuss manga, learn about Japanese culture and participate in other related activities.

This event is free and open to those in grades 6 through 12.
