Movies with Friends Resume on Wednesday, November 2 at 2:00 p.m. at South Holiday
The weather is starting to cool, so you know that it is time for Movies with the South Holiday Friends!
Join us on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. in the South Holiday Meeting Room and enjoy a movie (approximately an hour long), friends and light refreshments. The first show of the season will be on Wednesday, November 2 and will be about pirates. This program is free and open to adults.

Registration Begins for Summer Reading on Tuesday May 23rd at South Holiday
It's easy! You can read 6 books this summer and get weekly prizes. Just register at any of the Pasco County Library branches, or online at http://www.pascolibraries.org/ starting May 24th. Then start reading your books. As you finish them, tell us a little about each book (online, or in person). All 6 books need to be read and 'reviewed' by July 23 at 4 PM. You can always read more than 6 books! All kids who finish will be invited to a special party!

Our free children's programs will be on Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. starting on June 9.
If you know someone too young for school, you can promise to read at least 20 books to them over the summer for our "Read to Me" program. Storytimes will be on Tuesday mornings at 10:15 a.m. for toddlers and 10:45 a.m. for preschoolers starting June 7.
If you are going into grades 6 through 12 this fall, you can promise to read 6 books as part of our Teen Summer Reading Club. Free teen programs will be on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. starting June 8.
All programs and prizes are generously provided by our Friends of the Library.

Teens! We will be playing "Minute to Win It!" in the South Holiday Meeting Room on Wednesday, April 20th at 6pm. Compete in quick games of physical skill, coordination, and outright hilarity. Based on the television show Minute to Win It. Prizes and Refreshments Provided by the Friends of the Library.

Friends of the South Holiday Library Tea on Wednesday, March 30 at 2
This is our annual event for our Friends of the Library. We always welcome new members.
On Wednesday, March 30 at 2:00 p.m. in the South Holiday Library Meeting Room, there will be a Tea to honor our Friends of the South Holiday Library. We will enjoy light refreshments and Paul Stonebridge will present a travelogue of Scandinavia.
This will be a fun and interesting event and it is free for our members. If you are not already a member, you can sign up while you are here. Learn more about the Friends of the Library and what you can do to help support our branch and the system.
